If they are going to use the books, Heir to the Empire had a great core story they could adapt, and who wouldnt want to see Benedict Cumberbatch as Grand Admiral Kahn, I mean Thrawn. Told in the first person I, Jedi chronicles the story of one of the main characters from the X-Wing series of novels as he begins training as a Jedi at Luke's Jedi Academy. Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command launched the entire Star Wars Expanded Universe book series and are responsible for the resurgence of Star Wars in the 90s. It would work well with the “Mortis Trilogy” story that was laid out in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Been there, done that, refused to buy the tshirt. This one is fun and probably close to what we will see int he next film.
